Michael Harris Michael HarrisManaging Partner, Founding Member Fourth-generation real estate and construction, from job sites to the boardroom.

Michael is a fourth-generation real estate and construction professional from St. Louis, Missouri. He grew up on job sites and in board meetings while his father started and scaled two successful businesses, E.M. Harris Construction and Capital Consultants, which together have generated more than $800 million in revenue. Working in the field during summer breaks, first as a laborer in middle school and later as a carpenter's apprentice in high school, gave him the opportunity to learn the business from the ground up.

He brings more than a decade of experience in leadership and executive roles. Michael launched his career managing a department that sold and marketed a proprietary technology, and his team helped take Yurbuds from a startup to more than $75 million in revenue in three years. The company was acquired by Harman International, now a subsidiary of Samsung.

After returning to the family businesses, Michael continued in construction as a project engineer, then project manager and eventually vice president, helping diversify his father's ventures to consistently generate more than $60 million in annual revenue. He earned a master's degree in construction management from Washington University in St. Louis, and afterward founded a consulting firm serving business owners in real estate, construction, design, operations and project delivery.

He and his team helped client portfolios achieve more than $40 million in sales within one year, a 500 percent return per client. In early 2023 he sold his stake in the marketing and data companies.

Brando's experience spans real estate, marketing and the technology space, with a strong understanding of code and startups. Born and raised in the Netherlands, he represented the youth national team in snowboarding.
